I think we probably all expected this, but here's the official announcement. It does say that the items will not be available until the conclusion of the 2025 season so it's possible they might be wearing them again - Maybe for the cat game?

Disappointed that they won’t wear them again. Damnit. I’m registering but doubt I’ll get what I want. I just want a helmet
The fact that they won't be available until after the season hints that we may see them again this year at some point.
Helmets are $1000.

My thinking might be not logical at all, they break out the helmets at cat-Griz… and things don’t go the Griz way, that grand I dropped on a kick-ass helmet is going to sting a little more.
Which is probably why they're auctioning them now instead of later. Take everybody's money while sentiment is high, and then buyers can have remorse at their leisure but they're not getting their money back. I would like to see them worn at least once again though. We shall see what happens.
On the inverse, what if they wear them in an all time classic playoff game or brawl game it might be your favorite piece of memorabilia and priceless. Also doesn’t make it any less of a kick-ass helmet.
One could only hope.

I have mixed feelings if they wear them again for the Cant’s game. I didn’t like the performance yesterday in the first half. I guess the good vibes from the second half could carry forward with those unis. I would rather see a black helmet with any combo for top and pants. Now back to registering for the auction.

My original thought on that was for HoF weekend when we had the thread on them before, but I wouldn't mind at all seeing them one more time and the players at the post-game presser were very complimentary of the throwbacks.

True, as I said in the post that was up prior on throw backs, I am referring to the color scheme, but I did say here in those.
i honestly think the theme will wear of if we wear them too much though. It's nice to see the colors I was used to when I was a student, but we've moved on from it now.
The bear on the field was just a chalk outline, but it sure brought back memories of when that was on the basketball court and the first time I saw that was at the Western AA Divisional basketball tournament. I had been to the Kingdome for Mariner baseball games, but that place looked so huge.
