Lekeldric Bridges... Oh wait. Did I miss something?Who do you think were the breakout players and players of the game for the Cal Poly game?
Off the team? Easy. He's only a freshman.Don’t know about breakout, but Lekeldrick Bridges is quickly playing himself off the team.
Who is more of a liability than an asset to his team.Off the team? Easy. He's only a freshman.
Because of drops,or poor attitude and effort?? I have seen zero poor effort or attitude, the drops and execution stuff is easily fixed with time and maturity. Not ready to give up on the kid whatsoever. Unless there is other issues im not seeing.Who is more of a liability than an asset to his team.
You cant teach that type of speed. He'll be a baller with time.Love Bridges potential, he’s athletic like Fontes was, but his hands also remind me of Fontes. Get that kid some suction cups or stick’em
Speed does no good if you don't catch the ball, something he has proven to have a hard time doing. Maybe he will turn into an amazing receiver for the Griz, maybe he won't. There's no way of knowing yet and some receivers are just plagued with butterfingers their whole career. I hope he eventually gets it figured out, but in the meantime the coaches should not put him in a position like they did yesterday where a dropped ball is live. You cant teach that type of speed. This is my exact point, why I questioned the initial post that suggested hes "playing his way off the team". That is ridiculous. Just because a freshman has hard time with drops means hes playing his way off the team is really silly. Our all time greatest receiver didnt even see the field until barely sophomore year.Speed does no good if you don't catch the ball, something he has proven to have a hard time doing. Well we can agree to disagree for now, and we'll see how it plays out in the future. Maybe he'll turn into a phenomenal receiver but I have my doubts. If I turn out to be wrong you can say I told you so later on!This is my exact point, why I questioned the initial post that suggested hes "playing his way off the team". That is ridiculous. Putting him in the position of taking a lateral doesnt seem overly risky, however the d end for poly made a great play, didnt bite on the play going away from him, and made it difficult on bridges. It happens. Plays that will make bridges better in the future. My guess is he hits a big gain on this exact play, maybe even in a game this season.
