2026 Non Conference Schedule

The Patriot League is gonna be a lot better next year with Villanova, Richmond, and William & Mary all joining. Plus Lehigh (who comes to Missoula in 27) has really taken it to the next level.
My read on those tea leaves is kind of the same as when a gunslinger QB runs for 200 yards in a game. It's not a sign of strength in the running game.

In this case, it is the continued implosion of the CAA. A lot of CAA followers are calling for the teams in the northeast to revive the Yankee Conference name, as if that will magically transform Albany, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Stony Brook and whomever else they dream of adding from the NEC into a competitive league.

I am not a believer that the Patriot adding those three making a transformation either. Similar to how the BSC bottom feeders drag us down, it feels more likely that the talent level suffers when surrounded by less talented competition.

Dude there's bad teams in every conference. Even at the P4 level. How do you think the Big Ten teams feel about Rutgers and Northwestern? How do you think the SEC teams feel about Vanderbilt? (in most years). This notion that only the Big Sky has bad teams is simply not true.

Dude, I didn't say the BSC was the only one with bad teams. I put that in there because the majority of people on here will immediately comment on PSU, EWU, UNC etc. Apparently when it's included though, it also elicits a response. No sympathy for Rutgers in the Big 10 though, they added them in 2014 so obviously the move was approved by most of the members at that time. It's not all about football.
