I will text and PM you what he says. That's a good response.
The next time you see Hauck you should suggest to him that he use that the next time the question is asked.

Got it. Your unacceptable comment made me wonder who you think you are and triggered me. Ha. Had you said, you think he should have better decorum I would not have commented. Thx.Didn’t comment on his coaching or program building hoops. Just his decorum. Also, wasn’t calling for his head on a spike, just a little more class.
Thx for the history and perspective.Twenty-two years ago in early Sept., 2003, Bill MacIntyre, the late-great owner of Pug Mahon's--the quintessential Irish Pub in Billings--myself, his brother in Butte that we picked up in Butte, and a friend of mine from Billings attended Bobby's very first home game as our head coach, the inaugural game for our new and huge NEZ.
For those of you that remember the game, Div. II North Dakota State, soon to move to 1-AA, beat us, something like 25-24, as Bison Coach Craig Bohl directed a furious and successful 2nd half comeback that ruined the new NEZ and our new HC's debut.
Mac and his brother were excited to be at the game to watch their nephew Shane MacIntyre, one of our starting LB's. After the disappointing loss, the four of us beat feet to The Edgewater for the post-game GSA function with Bobby. As we walked into the room, a guy that I think was from the AD's office, was just outside and to the side of the entrance giving Bobby a little pep talk, knowing our new, young HC was probably going to get some tough questions following this disappointing loss.
So I raised my hand and asked Bobby something like, " Why are we playing our O linemen out of position on the O line ? (G's playing T, T playing G's, and a G playing C. )
Bobby's response, " We have to play our 5 best O lineman," and he went on to say that our O lineman are trained to play more than one position on our O line. And while Bobby answered my question, his blue eyes firmly locked on me and stared intently and fiercely on me--I had the feeling that while he was polite and terse, he really wanted to choke me out had we been the only two in this large conference room !!!
Bobby is a great head coach, and I support him 100 %. I know several of the Haucks, and all are friendly and easy going, but Bobby, at least when I am around him which, granted, is very little, is not that way. I do know that in the past, he would take the sports anchor from KPAX fly fishing, so he doesn't hate all reporters, and he does have a softer, friendlier side. But he is also the son of an old US Marine, and growing up, he learned that Marine Corps discipline from his dad, which has helped make him such a successful coach, and also how to show someone he doesn't like his open hostility towards that individual.
When I heard he was rude to Frank at the post-game press conference, not knowing exactly what happened, the first thought I had is Bobby has some history with Frank and it isn't good. !!!
Oh BS. Your view and statement are ridiculous. Who at the university gets interviewed as much as Bobby?
Your initial description is so wrong that I rate it lying. You are being a drama queen. He didn’t lose his composure. He said a few things to Frank and ended the interview.
Hauck’s bringing the Griz back should be respected and respected more, by Frank and by you. Obviously, your education has failed you.
Why don’t you identify yourself? Then we can pass along your criticism to Bobby.Show us you have the balls to back up your statements.
I find your anonymous whining to be unacceptable.
Frank should be ignored from here on out. He’s a nuisance.
Fritz? Where have you been?
If you turn the volume up, he said "flipping."I didn’t hear an F bomb but maybe.
Is it possible that:
1 - It was bad timing on the question, right after a comeback win, to ask on some depth/rotating guys at a certain spot? Frank's observation that during his whole time covering the Griz they have never rotated centers is correct. I'm sure he'd get a real similar response in the Monday presser but it seems to me that the Monday one is the better time to ask that.
2 - Bobby, in hindsight, could've answered that far more easily and without showing as much disdain for the question. "Yep Frank, we're rotating centers this year because we like them both. We rotate a lot of guys all over the team too, thanks for noticing." It was a heat of the moment reply he gave, but it's obviously now making the rounds and being talked about a lot.
It's Frank's job to ask questions and a part of Bobby's to be the public representative for the team.
Maybe, but this isn't the first time Frank has asked the question. Not sure why a guy that knows Bobby would continue to ask the same question on multiple occasions and expect things to go different.I think this is spot on. Better Monday question than a post-gamer. Maybe Frank is writing something about how the Griz use rotation in general. Rotating centers would be a good intro into an article like that.
What? Sentences still hard?I will text and on you what he says.
Brint is right. Also this specific change at center is more unusual. The centers snap with the opposite hand. As well as they are drastically different styles of centers due to their size differences. There probably is something more at play than Bobby is willing to talk about. Is it possible that:

As a former quarterback, it definitely threw me off when I had a different center come in. They had a different way of delivering the ball to my hands. But I was mostly under center, so the difference in their stances and delivery would make me have to adjust where I needed to put my hands. But I assume if you get enough reps with both of them you'd get used to it and wouldn't be too big of a big factor.I'm told that the QB's don't even focus on which center is in the game. Doesn't the ball come from the same spot and come through the legs? My view is that some of you are lost in the past, when the QB was under center. Whether the ball is from a left or right handed center, the ball is suppose to come to the QB in roughly the same area. Should teams not change QB's either, as it might throw off the center? The QB's have more important things to do. Have there been any issues between the center and the QB this season?
Can you tell whether I am typing right handed or left handed? Perhaps this is what throws some of you off, and triggers some. Ha.
Okay, but just like Frank who keeps asking Bobby the same question, you're still here commenting on the thread, so...?I decided to watch it again, and I have zero idea why this thread has gotten to 7 pages. Some people just need to find reasons to bitch.
Maybe I am dumb too, but not dumb enough to engage Bobby with the same question over and over.Okay, but just like Frank who keeps asking Bobby the same question, you're still here commenting on the thread, so...?
Interestingly enough, if you caught today's presser, Frank asked him a question and while Bobby was a bit derisive, he was not flat out rude and he sort of answered the question. Much better than Saturday night.Maybe I am dumb too, but not dumb enough to engage Bobby with the same question over and over.
So the Bobby stamp of adequacy?Interestingly enough, if you caught today's presser, Frank asked him a question and while Bobby was a bit derisive, he was not flat out rude and he sort of answered the question. Much better than Saturday night.
Well the bar is low.So the Bobby stamp of adequacy?
