Nope, and entirely my point except I am not sure I would say good, but solid.Does it need to be?
GRIZ struggled and still beat a good team on the road. All anyone will care about.

Yep. We gotta quit annointing every QB that plays against us as the next coming of Dan Marino and understand that it’s BECAUSE they’re playing against us that they look like Dan Marino. Against everyone else they look pedestrian.Huh? Cooke is mediocre. Has 6 passing TD's and 5 interceptions. Is 54% passing, even after a good day today. He was about 52% coming into the game. He's 9th in the conference in efficiency. He was 61% tonight. Dimes in first half, but not second half. He's not much of a runner. Wood of Idaho is way better. Ah Yat is a way better qb, in my view.
Imagine what he could do with a whole
Compliment of receivers and a good tight end or two. That kid is a baller. He made on big mistake though. He had the first down at the end of the game if he kept running. He threw to a covered receiver in the end zone instead.
When pressured he wasn't so good. But ISU has only given up 1 sack all seasonCooke is by far the best QB in the Big Sky conference and its not close. Kid drops dimes and reads defenses with ease and has a fast release. For his sake I hope he transfers up and gets a shot at FBS because I feel like he has NFL talent.
Yep. Same as Weber last year. Made that guy look so goodYep. We gotta quit annointing every QB that plays against us as the next coming of Dan Marino and understand that it’s BECAUSE they’re playing against us that they look like Dan Marino. Against everyone else they look pedestrian.
They looked good both sides of the ball.I don’t know if they’re a good team, but they are very good at (passing) what we aren’t very good at (defending the pass).
But, in the end, the Griz still won. They looked good both sides of the ball.
Amazing Idaho State didn't hold once all night!I can see why ISU has only given up one sack….that QB gets rid of the ball quickly and efficiently. This didn’t allow any Griz D pressures to get home. It seemed like they were 20-20 on quick slants. Gotta figure that out.
Same for UM.Amazing Idaho State didn't hold once all night!
But the Griz didn't and ISU did on almost every play!Same for UM.
Of course not.But the Griz didn't and ISU did on almost every play!![]()
Yes, I like our D scheme. BH said it is “multiple” and Griz were able to adjust and even go with a 4 man front at times. We have a defense based on pressure with the blitz and man coverage.
Yeah. If you bring the blitz it leaves DBs on an island. If I can understand it, everyone else should be able to also.Yes, I like our D scheme. BH said it is “multiple” and Griz were able to adjust and even go with a 4 man front at times.
It’s funny some egriz posters don’t get this.
Some egriz posters: “We need to get more pressure on the QB.”
The same egriz posters: “We need to stop playing man coverage.”
they have a great short passing game. Something I missI don’t know if they’re a good team, but they are very good at (passing) what we aren’t very good at (defending the pass).
Yes indeed, we pulled it out! On what seems to be a rebuild year...I'd say exceptionally good. What an entertaining game! But, in the end, the Griz still won.
I think Cooke flourishes against teams that play man coverage. Against a team that will play multiple zone looks he struggles.Yep.
