ESPN2 Broadcast

So likely to start late. Still two minutes on clock in first half of the Memphis game. So looking T almost two hours still it is done unless overtime. Likely we are gonna miss most of first quarter.
ESPNews has OmegaBall and table tennis during that time slot. If they don’t throw our kickoff on ESPNews, we’ll really know where FCS football stands.

If anyone watched the games yesterday (or has watched any of the BSC ESPN channel games over the last several years) is pretty clear how this will work out. Around 8:15 the game prior will still be going, so they will move kickoff back 10 -15 minutes. The prior game still won’t be over so they will kickoff and 10 minutes into the game bewildered ESPN2 viewers will be told they can watch game on ESPNNews. Between 8:50 and 9:10 (after interviews and analysis of the game) they will switch the UM game over to ESPN 2. 12 people on the East Coast, 3 in central time (none voters in polls or part of the playoff seeding committee) will watch.

Yeah! We are on “national tv”
So the three in the Central are GrizMN and my wife and I? Actually, the game will be watching her before the second quarter starts.

Well, I’m not suggesting we’re Monday Night Football here.

We’re the fcs for gods sake. We used to damn near orgasm if we had a 10 second highlight clip on espn. Now we have two games in west coast prime time, one highlighting the magic of WaGRIZ, and we complain about a late KO.
I get your point that others are complaining about a late KO. I'm ecstatic with the 8:15pm MT/9:15 CT KO time. We've had one of the best Falls I can remember in the 25+ years I've been here and today was the best day yet (75 and sunny with lite wind and no humidity). I enjoyed the day outside doing housework, bike riding, Minnesota hiking, and fishing instead of inside, or on my phone, watching the Griz. I'm just about to start the backyard bonfire before I come inside to watch the Griz. A Griz win will be the cherry on top of a picture perfect ice cream sunday. Then I will wake up early tomorrow to watch the Vikings - Steelers game KO in Dublin, Ireland.

8pm mt time....Looks like 10 min remaining in Memphis game, with TV timeouts, that is probably an hour.

They could leave the Memphis game on in FL and TN and switch for people in the Western Time Zones, but that would require Intelligence.

It is nice to get the national exposure of the late ESPN2 game but it is a safe bet that the game before it will run over the start time. And usually it will be some lame blowout that they will never switch away from, like this time.
