2026 Non Conference Schedule

I was looking ahead at scheduling, it looks like most of the years until 2029, except for 2026 are scheduled. We only have Oregon State scheduled for next year so far. Anyone hear any rumors on where and when Haslam will fill this schedule?
 
I heard Haslam say in an interview recently that the Big Sky is going to allow the Griz to keep Utah Tech as a non-conference game since it was scheduled well before they joined the league. So the Big Sky just won't schedule us against UTU in conference play and they can stay on the non-conf schedule. I think this may have happened once with Cal Poly when they joined and the Big Sky did the same thing. So we just need to fill one more hole and I'm sure they can find a Pioneer team or something like that to finish it off.
 
Im putting in for vacation next year. Would like to know what week to take off in the fall for a Griz game.
 
While we're on this topic, Big Sky Deputy AD Dan Satter told me on Twitter a couple weeks ago that he expects a public release of the 26 conference schedule in December. Said they still have to iron out a couple more things and then show the first draft to the AD's and presidents. However, if any of you listened to The Daily Drive with Ace and Riley last night, they threw out a teaser that the Griz will be hosting Idaho in Missoula again next year. Which if you think about it, it makes sense considering we have to go to Bozeman next year so having the Griz play both rivalry games on the road would suck. I'm sure Vandy fans will be pissed about it but it actually make a lot of sense. So there you go, there's some insight. Griz vs. Idaho in Missoula and Griz-cat in Bozeman next year.
 
If the BSC is releasing the schedule in December, this is all I want for Christmas. I am asking for them to make the nine conference games with three rivalry games. Give us Bozeman, Idaho and Eastern so we may kick Portland State to the curb.
I am curious with all the games that Central Washington has played the past several seasons if we don't maybe hear that they are being added to settle this issue about one team playing only 8 games.
I would prefer to have fewer teams, but if we have to be competing with the CAA for the most teams, at least make it so the schedule fits in one box. It is obvious that no one in Ogden made this observation before they moved forward with the plan. We played two seasons in a row with four OOC games in 12 game seasons and never once played any member of the UAC so I don't altogether buy the excuse that it makes scheduling difficult to only play 8 conference games.
Keep in mind too that Sac State is going to have to fill in 12 games as an independent. I would hope with all the drama they have caused that half of those games aren't against the BSC, but it's a different world.
