Griz came to play today in all 3 phases. Looked good doing it!

Good:

- Ah Yat is officially answering a ton of questions for any doubters. Had his best game as a Griz going 22-27 for 313 and 2 TDs as well as 1 running. Second week in a row over 300 yards passing
- Eli Gillman is like a video game RB at this point. Went for 120 on just 13 carries with 3 more TDs. Best RB in FCS and it’s not really close at this point.
- glad to see Wortham do his thing again. I think he was dinged up last week but seemed back to normal today. 3 runs for 29 and 5 catches for 78
- Griz defense with 3 sacks and lots of pressure
- no sacks given up by Griz O line
- huge hit and fumble caused by Tuliaupupu scooped and scored by Rausch
- Wing with some good pressures and another pick
- 647 yards of offense, 344 passing and 303 rushing
- Dever with his first TD at WR. Been nest to see him showing up each game. Was a bit of an unknown coming in
- Bohannan has been so reliable (hope he’s okay)
- love seeing the Griz getting the TEs involved. Gale has been an awesome addition and had 4 grabs for 57 and 1 TD
- Morrison with some good punts today…only had 2 but averaged 45 yards and pinned them with one
- zero turnovers
- awesome seeing so many 2s-3s get some time and play well (Fonoti, Running Rabbit, Jones, Monte)

Bad:
- some missed tackles early that gave up extra yards
- seeing Bohannan get helped off the field

Ugly:
- hard to find much…..maybe two late scores due to poor tackling by the 2s and 3s

Feel free to add!

My favorite part is just how many transfers are making direct and positive impact:
- Wing
- Gale
- Wortham
- Tolbert
- Tuliaupupu
- Bohannon
- Harper
- Bailey
- Wilkinson

I heard from the trolls that this many transfers wouldn’t work out and they wouldn’t gel. So far they are all big time contributors

I like how we have younger relatives of current/former players coming here. Ford, Gillman, and Ay Yat. In the new transfer portal world, this seems good.

GOOD:
The Win, AhYat and overall improvement it looked like in areas we struggled in last week. Defense for the most part once again played well with more pressure on their QB, Running Rabbit scoring a TD.

BAD:
Lawler getting beat deep a few times (luckily their QB only connected once), poor tackling, O-Line still struggling/poor blocking on some plays but Gillman bailed them out on a few of them.

UGLY:
Injury to Bohannon

Good: WRs blocking and O-line improved blocking on pass plays. Pressure and sacks by the defense (Wing, Solo, Schwartz, Peck, etc.)

Bad: tackling and O-line blocking on run plays. Referees missed a block in the back and numerous blatant holding calls by the ISU O-line. Corbin Hendrix's drops. You can tell he has the skills, just needs to put it together at the collegiate level.

Ugly: Blake Bohannon injury - he was having a great performance. Hope he's okay because we need him. Scout team's defensive positioning and tackling. Blocking of ISU's #98 on run plays. Lawler and Ford getting beat deep 1:1. Lawler and Ford have to learn how to position themselves alongside the receiver to maintain contact without being called for a pass interference penalty.

What’s amazing is the first three you mentioned transferred from OTHER BSC schools…guys really DO want to come here and play.

Good and bad parts together: Good: We hung 63 points on a really bad OVC cellar dweller. Bad: We hung 63 points on a really marginal OVC team. See, it's kinda like kissing your sister...or beating a fellow BSC team like Portland State. Overall, though, a great win and warm up for Idaho.
