Thank you Scripps Sports

Thank you for choosing Trey and Jordan to announce the Griz games. Love them both. Marty was knowledgeable but too redundant in his remarks.

Good announcers. Though Marty threw onions, garlic, and spice to the verbal recipe. Some folks don’t like it. Though we need a bit of zip to the broadcast. Kraft Mac and Cheese can be accurate yet a bit dull. Rather like the first few Griz offensive series. Three plays and punt.

Don’t need to hear about ‘Cover 2’ either. Want to hear about coverage so tight our DB’s having a near marital relationship with their wide receivers. Or, our linebackers planting a copy of their tattoo permanently onto the opposing QB’s forehead. I do miss Marty and his entertaining babble.

Probably a reason you can't relate. But I agree, either of those guys would be better to listen to on air
ouch. i see what you did there. outed me for the effeminate tone of my online voice. now i know why i was blacklisted from all tough guy voice-overs and acting opportunities by big Ad after i auditioned for the "step into a slim jim!" part. and all this time i thought the macho man got the part over me because he was a casting couch slut who slept his way to the top.

Is this rage bait? JT was 37 and played in the NFL. I suppose you would rather a Frank Rizzo or someone that doesn’t understand what it means to be a Griz.
Anyone but that whiney voice, Steve Urkel or Fran Drescher would be easier to listen to. Its just my opinion, my volume is off until a change is made, its torture

My biggest complaint about Marty and his partner was that despite all of the access they had to the team. And how many games they watched. It was like they NEVER learned the players. They constantly or even regularly named the wrong guy making plays.

Will always appreciate Marty for dropping the “ya gotta hit them above the tits” line.

for the record, i kind of grew to enjoy listening to marty. i don't have any problem with the current voices, but the names that have popped up here have me visualizing a booth shared by fran drescher and jesse ventura with sideline reporting by the macho man and urkel.

It was when they kicked it back to RFK Jr. in the studio that really put me over the edge.
