Breakout Players - UND

Who do you think were the breakout players for the UND game? I'm thinking Kyon Loud, Brooks Davis, and KAY.
I would give the defensive PoG to Wing, simply because all the good Loud did almost got wiped away by one selfish moment that was totally unnecessary and inexcusable. If we hold them to a field goal on the upcoming 3rd and 9, the last UND possession is much less hectic.
Offense I would give to B Davis for the two big TD catches over KAY's two picks. Even though the first was practically a punt and the second was on a tipped ball, he missed a wide open Bohannon on what should have been a TD that he under threw and got lucky it wasn't picked, despite coming up big on the final drive.

Defensively I would go with Tolbert…..dude was all over the place

Wing amazes me how instinctively he can time the snap and be in the backfield before the QB and RB knows what's happening.

Tolbert was an absolute menace, Wing was exceptional, and Deizel continues to impress. Also bohannon had some huge plays, and was abusing that corner #27 in the Big drives down the stretch, the dude was literally hanging onto him. Most obvious P.I. calls possible! They should've identified 27 earlier. He got destroyed by Brooks on the game winner too.

We'd be remiss not to mention money Morrison (Brint's coined nickname) as a breakout. What a huge kick. First attempt of the season, in that moment, and nailed it. Big time. And his kickoffs are long.

I love hearing all the shoutouts to all the different players. It’s great to see all these new and returning players making contributions. And the fact that Gilman and Wortham had quiet games makes me even more excited where this team can go….need to get the offensive line squared away though.

Bring on the fighting Larry Birds!
