Griz vs DSUs

I am not speaking for the poster that gets it. But Injuries LOL

Were any of you even alive the last time the Griz won a National Championship? I know I wasnt

If 40 more teams left the FCS including the Bison Maybe then Montana could snag a NC.

You will NEVER win one with the current teams and the head coach you have. You can barely beat DII teams.

Overall, Montana certainly has been more successful over the DSUs than the Cats, and the deciding factor has been homefield advantage. The results have shown that the Dakotas have struggled to beat Montana in Missoula, but have had MSU's number in Bozeman. Both Montana and MSU have been unable to beat NDSU nor SDSU on their turf, nor on a neutral field (yet).

But it's safe to say that for Montana at least, our best bet is to get NDSU or SDSU to Missoula to have the greatest shot of beating them, which is a better shot than MSU has fared in Bozeman.

Montana vs NDSU Series History: (6-5 NDSU)
Games played in Washington-Grizzly Stadium: (5-1 Montana)
Games played in Fargo, ND: (3-0 NDSU)

MSU vs NDSU Series History: (6-1 NDSU)
Games played in Bobcat Stadium: (1-2 NDSU)
Games played in Fargo, ND: (2-0 NDSU)

Montana vs SDSU Series History: (8-2 Montana)
Games Played in Washington-Grizzly Stadium: (7-0 Montana)
Games played in Brookings, SD: (1-1 Split)

MSU vs SDSU Series History: (1-5 SDSU)
Games played in Bobcat Stadium: (2-1 SDSU)
Games played in Brookings, SD: (3-0 SDSU)

Our best shot to beat anyone is to get them at home particularly come playoff time which is why the regular season matters a lot.

Doesn’t appear to help the Cats. Definitely agree with you and the Griz are tough at home. So are Dakota schools. That’s why I despise the ranking system that exists. It really is ridiculous for some of the east coast schools to be in garbage conferences and get into the top 4. Griz have a good chance of getting to #2 or #3 if they take care of business with their schedule this year. They need to perform this weekend.
