game time radio

I tried to listen to the radio guys at Saturday's game but the radio is so delayed that it wasn't workable. Does that mean that you can't listen to the game if you are in the stadium? It seems to me that basketball radio syncs with the game but I could be wrong on that.

Are you saying that you were listening to the radio over the air and it was delayed?

I have glaucoma and not great eyesight because of it, so I always take a little radio with me to the game and I listen to Riley call the game on KGVO. It always works great for me.

It would definitely be concerning if the radio call isn't live anymore. That would be weird.

If you're using an app, it will be delayed due to buffering. If you're in the stadium and listening directly via a radio as DBM does you'll be fine.

Honestly though the radio call through the app was ahead of the tv broadcast on + for me this week

Thanks for the insight. I was at the game using the KGVO app on my iphone blue-toothed to my headphones.

If I blue-tooth my iphone by going to KGVO rather than using their app, maybe I won't have any problems.

i have mine plugged into my ear at the stadium and haven't noticed any delay listening direct , goodthing too because everyone around me is asking 'What are they saying about this or that?? !!

Can I listen live over my iphone or do I need a radio?

If you want to get rid of the delay, you'll have to get an actual radio. If you want to keep using wireless headphones, you can also get a bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the radio, but that will also add some delay albeit generally less than a second. If you want to hear what's happening right this instant, ultimately a radio with wired headphones is the only way it's physically possible. Or headphones with a built in radio for that NASCAR look.
