Elijah Brady PT

Let me stsrt the Elijah Brady bandwagon.
That kid was impressive in his limited opportunities. A bone jarring brutal tackle and terrific coverage on an end zone fade route.

Who else would like to see him gradually get more PT? If so, how do it? The cbs ahead of him played solid.

I actually agree with you. Very promising, but it’s just one game. Bobby believed in competition and the kid can work his way into more playing time. I think the style of play lends itself to more opportunities. Hard nose are the words that come to mind.

I love it when a depth player catches my eye. That's why I don't leave early and stay the full game.

Add Wilkinson to that group. And Otlewski. All hit like freight trains.

On a CWU td run, he tried to wrap up the ball, without any wrap up on the runner.

He wasn't alone there. LOTS of tackles attempted with big hits and no wrap.

In the press conference, coach expressly commented on how good the tackling was in the game! He may rethink that statement after watching film!

Pursuit and team tackling was good. Lots of slipping off tackles and not driving through.

AGreed...and I made that comment in a different thread. Gang tackled and hit like freight trains...just lots of not wrapping up it appeared to this casual observer...

Could have had 10 TFL's if they'd wrapped up in the backfield...and TFL's are very important to me because I have Montana's D and ST in our BSC fantasy league...
