So you don't want them to flag penalties? Are in top form in the UI/St. Thomas game….literally a flag almost every play.
The officials in Griz game were terrible, or at least some of them. They don’t know what PI is. And the holding call on the Griz on CW sideline was a horrible call.
Regardless of what they choose to throw a flag on, at least do it consistently throughout the game. The officials in Griz game were terrible, or at least some of them. They don’t know what PI is. And the holding call on the Griz on CW sideline was a horrible call.
Yes. That’s exactly what I said.So you don't want them to flag penalties?
The back judge called all of them. The PIs, the holding on the return, the face mask in the first, and a couple others. He called the face mask from 30 yards away with other officials right there. So I noticed from then on.
Was like that PI call against our #17 down the sideline. The ref was RIGHT there, staring at the play, and no flag. This is part of the problem with the bsc and their officiating. They're not held accountable, either by the league (duh) or themselves. In any other league, those two officials would get together and talk about what they saw (or in the case of the bsc imagined they saw), and usually get the call right. But in the bsc officials never contradict one another. That official who was one yard away from that should have immediately gone to the guy 30 yards away to ask what he saw, and then called bullshit and told him to pick up the flag. Was like that PI call against our #17 down the sideline. That was the back judge. Most (all?) the big and controversial calls were him overriding much, much closer officials who were right there. Was like that PI call against our #17 down the sideline.
