My view is that playing, and playing for a contender, is alot better than not playing on an FBS team that is going nowhere. Practicing and sitting on the bench are not the fun parts of college football. Had you ever played the game, you would know that.
My view is playing in a big conference in front of 90,000 fans is a fun part of college football. Had you played for a better program than Dartmouth, you would know that.
