We should be able to see Jensen play, this week. Hopefully Hauck will let him play with the 1’s, so we can get a true evaluation of what he can do.

I can not believe the reaction on facebook by Griz fans to KA getting the start!
These so called Griz fans are being brutal about the kid. I may not be super high on the kid but would never go on social media to blast him. Kid is a redshirt sophomore who could come in and tear up the league who knows. Just a bad look in my opinion on a Grizzly fan page.

I agree with you, it's totally counter productive, and shitty fan behavior, to publicly spew negatively about any of the student athletes. But anyone spewing that towards KAY is either A. Completely not paying attention this fall, or B. Totally ignorant, or C. Both.
He's only a sophomore. Still much room to grow and develop and I'm confident he will have a great season. Mye true hope is he stays healthy and can progress throughout the season.
I need to see more of him actually more of him healthy. KA did well before the injury and musical quarterbacks. He has put on muscle and has probably been told to slide more which will help his overall health. A good defense will make a huge difference for the QB's too. Soo many games last year Griz gave up leads or got behind early forcing the QB's to make plays and not just manage the game.
If this o-line is even top 15 in all of FCS Griz and KA should have a great year.

The Venn diagram of this place and facebook has to be pretty tight.
My guess is top 10 oline, maybe even top 5, we shall see. Defense is night and day different from last year is the assessment I give it thus far, but as bobby likes to say, they haven't played w a scoreboard yet, so that is TBD to a degree. His numbers were good to great last year for a freshman, all things considered. Fired up for him this season ! Agree with your points too.

Now that right there is funny because Bobby never named a starting quarterback until Tuesday of this week.

Excluding some garbage time stats against SDSU’s backups at the very end of the game, these were his cumulative stats against teams with a winning record (6 games):
484 passing yards, 1 TD, and 5 interceptions. That was with Bergen, White, Raccanelli, Fontes, and Eli Gilman on the roster. Two WR’s who are playing professionally, and another in a P4 conference now. He wasn’t lacking for talent around him.

Stats like that are hard to argue with. Let’s just hope the kid is like most collegiate athletes. They are like a fine wine and get better with age. Sometimes a year makes a big difference. The game slows down, kids are able to start making reads and see what the defense is doing, they put some weight on and mature. I hope all is true for KA.
