Vincent Genetone

Ah. See, you misunderstood. I wasn't calling his DECISION a waste...I realize he can do whatever he wants and is making decisions for reasons many of us can't fathom or know. I was calling it a waste that he could have really been something as a Griz LB instead of an afterthought on the 'Huskers' roster. We could have used his talents.

You should probe a bit more before you jump to conclusions.
Reality is, you have zero idea. It seems your entire argument is based on a lack of conclusive information.

Some people can’t fathom that there’s a whole big world out there beyond Griz football.

Dude made a P5 roster in his home state. For 99% of football fans, that is a lot more relevant than being a linebacker for the Griz.
My view is that playing, and playing for a contender, is alot better than not playing on an FBS team that is going nowhere. Practicing and sitting on the bench are not the fun parts of college football. Had you ever played the game, you would know that.

No shit, Sherlock…brilliant deduction. This entire place is an argument based on lack of conclusive information.

I gotta say Helena, you pick the weirdest fucking hills to die on.

Sure he is. His viewpoint is entirely based on the premise that he chose to leave and go elsewhere
So it is a waste compared to the what if he remained a Griz.
Nope. AZ said that G being on the bench at rb at Nebraska, and not being at UM getting time at linebacker, is a waste. I don't recall AZ saying anything about the decision G made or that it is a waste. You don't read or comprehend well. And, as I have said, you are unable to admit or back away from your mistakes. You do this fairly often.

You do realize those things are related. I will also note that I am not the one that drudged this thread back up.

They 100% are not related. One mourns the loss of the talent we could have used in the LB room, the other criticizes the player for making a decision none of us have ever had to make.

Like I said, you pick the strangest hills to die on.
