Griz FB Practice Takes Week #2

Took in another practice yesterday. If you read my first week's report you will see that I have been confirmed to be correct by others on my QB statement. Ha, imagine that! AH YAT continues to improve and is starting to look like an experienced QB that he is. Flowers appears to be taking the reps with the #2's moving up from #3.I mentioned this last week that he should be at #2. Again it appears I made the correct call. As far as other takes of note I would say that either the DL is really good or the OL is lacking at this point. I would say it's a bit of both. Harder for a WR to get open and when they do there is lots of pressure from the line backers. Punting and field goal kicking seems to coming a long with punting being the standout there.

Let's hope the D-Line is just really good!!

Who could possibly have predicted that Ah Yat and Flowers would get better this year? And it’s amazing that when one qb is running as the no. 2 qb that he becomes the no. 2 qb. And that watching which qb runs with which group and in which order shows how good of a predictor one is.

Can you predict who the no. 1 running back is?

The unbelievable part is they improved w/out facing any NAIA teams. I didn't think that was possible.

The question is what was your prediction after 2 days of fall camp? Hum, don't see any from you or how about the Sideline Lackeys pod-they certainly didn't have it right? Or maybe BWahlberg did he have it ? Nope, not one of you who think you are so smart. It gives me great pleasure to rub it into all of you who don't like me because you forgot one thing- I have the credentials. ;)

I like your presence on this board. I may be the only one who does but yes, I do like you here. Now some of your posts, well......that's a different story.

We don’t want to hear about the shit that pleasures you.

Seriously.

Strangest thing to me is that I thought it was established that the sophomore year is the end of the athletic learning process. Now Ah Yat is a redshirt sophomore, so that is so far at the end, that curve has to be really steep.
Sounds like there may be a need to set up a go fund me page to pay for the injury to the arm from all the self-back patting, but we still have no results on credentials and I just can't contribute without that validation.

Show us on the doll where he hurt you…..

Seriously I’ve never seen someone need or crave so much attention or “look at me” syndrome. Good luck with that.

It seems that defense is quite ahead of offense at this time-ss it has in past years. As far as the QB goes, many predicted that Flowers would be number 2. Predictions are one thing, but rooting our own horns on Egriz gets annoying. Get over yourself.
Sorry , I wrote "tooting " but spellcheck f##ked me over once again. I'll get you spellcheck, oh yes, I will.

Brint and I predicted it last spring.

Dude, you're no Brint Wahlberg; but then again, I'm no Jack Kennedy. And I knew Jack Kennedy.

Just to let you know I am trying to out do my post about Hoops third cousin who fell off the bar stool in Ekalaka which has to be an all time EGRIZ classic for sure. I am working my way up to it little by little. We will see how the season progresses.
