Stud CB Recruit Jayden Nicholas Commits!

Call me a naive, glass half-full, wide-eyed optimist, but do you think maybe--just maybe-- longtime GRIZ Recruiting Coordinator, GRIZ great himself, and NFL veteran Justin Green 💚, assisted by longtime, record-setting GRIZ HC Bobby Hauck and the rest of our excellent veteran staff, actually kinda' know what they're doing when it comes to recruiting both high-school kids and the transfer portal as this impressive, work-in-progress ' 26 high-school class and our current '25 transfer-portal class show ? ... I do : ) !!!

Go GRIZ !!!

Hi. Really good pickup!

More than likely the WSU and Arizona offers were conditional offers that are no longer there. A very optimistic person can think that UM is beating out Arizona for recruits, but I prefer to stay realistic. Regardless, he looks like a very good player and a very good recruiting win.

You prefer to stay negative. I chuckle when you neggies try to excuse your neggie views by claiming you are being realistic.

They can't being doing well, a bobcat fan told me they were terrible recruiters.
Also you can't win a national championship without a majority of Montana kids on the roster!! Just look at NDSU and SDSU and all of their Montana high school recruits.

Sarcasm level 1000

Not to get into a petty argument or anything, and I've appreciated our conversations, but couldn't this same logic apply to the players that you are bothered about MSU getting and not UM? If we are saying "well, we can't know that the Arizona, San Diego State, Hawaii, Nevada, San Jose State, UNLV, and Wazzou all made full, non-conditional offers, so I will assume it isn't a true head to head recruiting victory," then perhaps we weren't offering the full rides to players MSU landed, so it wasn't really an apples to apples recruiting victory when they get someone over UM?

Or, maybe after he didn't get the offer he really wanted more than anything, from Oregon State, he was won over by our staff making a pitch that he could go FBS and sit, or come here and compete for a chance to get on the field as a freshman/sophomore and get enough looks to move up to the FBS with a higher profile.

The truth is, we don't know. The only data points we have are public offers, so that's really all we can utilize. This kid had a stack of them from the FBS and the Big Sky. He chose Montana.

I've heard this somewhere.
