Big Sky Preview

Just watched a conference preview with Haley and Herder. They mentioned Cats, NAU and Sac as contenders. Absolutely no mention of Montana as a possible contender.
Gave Eli a little love as Payton contender but went over the top about Jones being conference MVP.
They also said that MSU has pulled way ahead of the rest of the teams since Vegan has arrived. Funny that just two years ago GRIZ beat cats and made it to the national championship. I don’t see the separation???
Was also surprised they downplayed the loss of Tommy and the other great players lost to transfer portal and graduation.

In Haley's defense, he did say, "After Montana State, you can make a compelling argument for 2,3,4" i.e. make a case for any of those teams to win the conference.

This is 100% what i would expect them to say😂.

Don’t get buying into all of the hype surrounding the Bobcants. The players they lost on both sides of the ball from last year will quickly become evident.

Although they both made the obligatory pick for MSU, I felt like the whole thing was led by Megan (sp?) Robinson, the moderator. She asked them about NAU and Sac, otherwise I don't necessarily think they would have brought them up. They did not address the personnel issues other than to say 10 returning starters, but they did highlight both coordinators are new in Bozeman. They do love them some Adam Jones no doubt, but most of what they had to say was answering Robinson's lead and I felt like they mentioned at the end there were other contenders that could emerge to challenge Bozeman, they didn't have time or get the opportunity to discuss if they felt those challengers were maybe Montana, Idaho or Davis.

At least that's what my takeaway from the podcast was.

They are drinking the Shi__y Kitty 😺 Kool Aid--I think the blue and gold Humpty Dumpty is going to suffer a big fall over the next 13 weeks starting in less than a month in Eugene @ Autzen Stadium. After last year's scare 😱 from Idaho and the bitter taste of losing to Ohio State in the playoffs, no way Oregon over looks the SK's !!!

And The Ducks' cheerleaders even have installed a soecial cheer just for MSU:

" Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty 😺 ! "
