personally, i think not. it is like a lot of the universities that belong to the organization - a big, for profit business that hides behind the 'college' part of it's name to rake in cash for administrators, etc...

The NCAA? Yes. Their main source of income is the basketball tournament, which fund all the other championships across divisions. The individual professional college teams? Definitely not.
