Montana at Weber 11/1/25

Griz in Texas

Well-known member
Need your help egriz!

I have never been to a game in Ogden and want to hear from any of you that have.

Single game tickets don't go on sale until 9/2. Is there any issue with walking up and getting tickets at the box office there? I see that Stewart Stadium lists capacity at 17,500 and the last time we played there in 2022 the paid attendance was just north of 11k.

Any info you can share with me on this is appreciated. I have driven through Ogden several times but never had a reason to get off 15.

Also, if any of you saw the posts on here about flying to San Antonio, I have this info. I hate flying out of the airport in SA, just miserable for a city of 1.7 million. It takes about an hour to get to Austin-Bergstrom and its over $100 cheaper per ticket.

Our Griz need to get this series back on track!
After the 2013 win vs Weber, the Griz dominant all-time record against them improved to 40-13.
After last seasons loss to them, that record is 41-18.
1 win since 2013. That was in the 2019 season. But they avenged that loss in the playoffs.

Okeee...

Curious what section Griz fans are in for the Sac St game. Looking to get tickets soon.
My wife was considering that we go to that game instead of Weber so I went to their site and checked it out here.

All the tickets are general admission except for 2 sections on the west side.
The east side is the visitors bench, so I would imagine that is the side the Montana fans will be on, and it will basically be open seating.
There was another thread where some folks on here were talking, one of them is going, someone had been before, and the GSA tailgate is just outside of one of the gates. I don't remember the thread that was in though, so if you happen to find it, please holler back.
This is another place I have passed through several times but never had occasion to stop in Sacramento. I did go to the UC Davis game in 2009, but that's not going to help you at all.

I bought my four tickets on the Visitor side in the 50 yd line section. But all seats are general admission. Only $17 plus a fee.

Thanks, Reinell. Confirming that you are referring to the Sac State game in this comment? We are going to go to this game as well - what website did you use to purchase?

Sac State correct. I purchased from the Sac State Hornets web site. We are going to Idaho State and Weber State as well. Weber State tickets won't be available until after 2 Sept.

I have always got my tickets in section 101,102 or 103. There will be lots of Griz fans in that area and we will be louder than their crowd. :-) Their fans are pretty relaxed and don't get too excited but are also very friendly even with Griz fans being Griz fans. I will certainly be there and will have a ton of family in town for it but we should catch up if possible. It's a nice environment and good stadium. There will be lots of tickets available so I wouldn't worry about availability either.

Very much appreciate the info, I knew someone out there would have something to share.
We'll probably look for the GSA tailgate and see if we see anyone there. Hope to see y'all there as well.
