Fun Article about Dillon Botner

This is a fun read. Botner was going to hang it up after last season as he has already earned three undergrad degrees from UM, and was going to be studying for the MCAT and applying to medical schools. But he decided to stick around another year after getting a medical waiver. You can read the article, but he passed the MCAT and already has medical schools interested in him for the fall of '26. Props to him and glad he came back for one more season.

And he's a good sport, has a good sense of humor, and seems down to earth, though not too stylish wearing his mullet in his bet with Klimo.

I was watching this past weekend CNN's documentary on " Live Aid," the great fundraising concert 40 years ago to raise $ to fight famine in Africa. Bono was interviewed, now in his mid 60's, and he was profusely apologizing for his 1980's mullet--he seemed to be really embarrassed to watch film of U2 at Live Aid and the images of him on stage sporting this really nasty -bad mullet.

Well, good luck, Dillion on your last year as a GRIZ OL--you will be our Joe Dirt of Da GRIZ O line 😉😀 !!! ( And you'll make a terrific doctor sans the mullet !!! )

The first time I ever saw my husband he had a killer mullet. The next time I saw him again, a year and a half later, he had practically shaved his head and had a very short crew cut. After we were engaged I begged him to grow his hair back out a little bit and he had the quintessential late '80s haircut (think Glenn Frey after he cut off the long hair). Now he's starting to bald and I kind of miss the mullet. Haha.

Great post! I was as excited to hear he's back. Always great to hear they have a choice to return or move on and they come back and so many of these stories talk about the degrees they get and emphasizes the climate is that it's not just about the sport.

Spoken like an Alabaman. ;)
Just wanted to put a photo up so you can see how lovely me and missus are.😁
