Honest question. Cats averaged 40 Points a game last year. How many points do Cats average with a Non Mellott QB (Still have every other player on the team, just not him). I would say 26 (so having Mellott account for 14 a game).

Anytime you lose a Walter Payton award winning QB, there will be a serious decline in offensive output. TM impacted 70% of the Scats total points last year so that would mean 28 points a game. I would think the 2025 offense can add back 7-10 points a game so Scats average 19-22 points a game this year.

Saccat is the entire o-line returning? Do the cats have a mobile qb in camp?
Cats have great running backs that is a fact. They will need a QB that can complete 65% passes.
Mellot had that ability to take it to the house from anywhere on the field, which helped create one on ones down field and hesitation on attacking rb's .
14 points sounds very realistic, which could create some close games.
I don't pay that much attention to what goes on with the neighbors, I'm sure many of you would feel the same way, I just don't care other than that one week. I did see they are very boastful of this Lamson kid that has been at Stanford and Syracuse and his numbers don't seem near to Tommy Boy.
I am more concerned with what happens on Campus Drive because we have a defense and a running game too, and all our answers in the passing game are pending as well.

6 Of the 8 in the O-line rotation return. Both the QBs that have a chance to win the starting spot this year are mobile (from what I have seen, and what I have been told). Agree with another poster that said "You can't just replace a WP winner". But couldn't you say the same for NDSU, or SDSU? The Dakotas and Montana schools are all basically starting with a new QB (SDSU with probably the best one).

My guess is the Cats average around 30 (give or take 3 points) for the year. With 2 lowest points coming against Oregon, and then either SDSU or UM. Cats under Vigen need to prove they can even compete against UM when game is in Missoula. SDSU game is Gold Rush, so that should help. Both UM and MSU should have very good defense, so that will also help.

Then probably you shouldn’t bother commenting about it either, unless you’re just wanting to tell everyone how much you don’t care😁.

I'm saying the same thing about NDSU and SDSU. More so about SDSU because not only do they have a new QB but also an entirely new coaching staff. NDSU has also proven to be able to replace their elite QBs with great QBs on their way to becoming elite QBs. SDSU and MSU haven't.

Therefore, I picked UC Davis to be 2nd in the BSC.

If this was set up to select the Big Sky winner, I feel like most of us would stay brand loyal and say Montana, so what I'm saying here is tell us who you think is going to finish #2. Post a different result or whatever if you don't have Montana wining or think they will finish second.
I maxed out on possible responses, so I put Portland State and Northern Colorado in one together. Even if they don't finish last, they won't be in playoff contention IMO, but you make the call.
I only have it on for 10 days.
I wish you would have included the Griz because I think it's possible that is where they land. So technically (notice the spelling;)) if the Griz finish second then the pole-poll is null and void. Nobody will win the participation trophy.

No one is saying you can't set up a poll. As stated, there isn't room for all the conference members to be included. I even said, "Post a different result or whatever if you don't have Montana wining or think they will finish second." Since I didn't consult you when I set it up, however, fair is fair, you don't have to consult with me either when you post your own. 🏆 For your participation.

Pretty sure he plainly stated his reasons for not including us which has made sense to everyone except you.
IDK, I thought it was a valid point you made, but I also thought we covered the ground on spelling in this thread too. I'm either in an endless loop that was an error in creation, or the old 'a mind is a terrible thing to waste' ad from back in my youth. Reading is fundamental...reading and comprehending is even more fundamental.
