Old, this might be your greatest post ever. Im glad to see you’ve finally come around on realizing that only Bobby and the staff know all the ins and outs of the program and that us as fans really don’t have the in-depth knowledge to legitimately complain about why or why not something isn’t working. Yes it's taken years for me to come to this realization. MANY YEARS. But my post to hoops about Ekalackaka I feel is better. How's the dog walking coming ? Hot summer days can be brutal

There’s always Alzada and Westby.
I had a conversation recently with another buddy that grew up in Eastern Montana. What is more remote Ekalaka or Jordan? I argued Ekalaka because you never go through there on your way to anywhere. It is literally the end of the road.
I never hesitate to call anyone that grew up in Westby a Wesbian.

Volvo, you sound like a SE Montanan. I am familiar with all three places mentioned, been there, done that. Try going to Ekalaka via Alzada sometime, if you are up to a challenge. Summertime only. Now, THAT is the definition of rural.
Wolf, how'd you ever connect Westby and Alzada? Opposite corners of Eastern Montana. Three things to see in Westby: Wheat, North Dakotans, and Cannucks.

The end of the paved road in Carter County is just south of Ekalaka, on a rise in the road, as I remember. The quality of road surfaces deteriorates the farther one gets from Elalaka. The road north is straight as an arrow, but gullies are on either side of the road, seemingly forever. No shoulder. so if you go off the road....bye bye!. Maybe thats why I get the Willies every time I see pictures of a Roller-Coaster ride.
That's not true, anymore. They completed the highway from Ekalaka to Alzada. Makes for a nice drive from Eastern Montana to Rapid City, Sturgis, Deadwood, Etc.

I've been through Alzada a few times and I know there are signs for Ekalaka along 212. I had to look up where Westby is to be honest, but I have a couple more nominees for remotes.
Cooke City and Yaak. Both, I believe are still only accessible by snowmobile in the winter.
The Circle and Terry Burbs.
Cooke City and Yaak are both beautiful and always have the vibe that a few of their residents are hiding from authorities.
