Maybe I'm buying into the Sac hype a little too much and overrating the talent they've brought in, but 6th seems insane. I would bet a lot of money they finish in the top 3-4 of the conference.

The rest looks fine. Lots of unknowns this year for a ton of teams.

I really need to go through the schedules to see who has the easy path this year. Maybe I'll do that and make a thread.

I agree with you. Despite Rashada’s issues, he’s probably the most talented QB in the conference. They’ve got a lot of talent at the skill positions. Have no idea what their lines look like, and I would imagine the possibility of those guys not getting paid could derail things, but just based on talent, they’re likely a top team in the conference this year.

I did not expect the coaches to put us behind Davis, I will freely admit.
Not that it matters, it's just a poll.
My theory though; we were up by one when they tallied Bozeman's ballot since they can't vote for their own team #1, Bozeman voted for Davis and had us at #6 and that put us four points behind. If it were only that simple. There are probably coaches in the past that would have voted for Montana last, but I don't think Vigen is that kind of guy. He is their coach, which by definition makes him an @$$H0LE in my book.

Good, let The Shi__y Kiities be # 1 in the polls. They lost a lot of talent from last year and not just TM, and being # 1 in preseason is normally like being on the cover of Sports Illustrated: a real jinx !!!
It is kind of obligatory, isn't it, for these polls it seems to make the defending champion the favorite the following year, to include the major polls for FCS football?
I'd rather be down in the polls to start the year and sneak up on the opponents as the season goes.

Amen, Texas, I think we were # 1 preseason BSC last year, and # 3 nationally, and we all know how that turned out !!!

Looking at Brennan Marion's head coaching record, he is 11-10 at HS level. As the HC, he needs to pay attention to all three facets of the game and can't just focus on the offense. Therefore, even though the Go Go Offense looks formidable, being the HC is going to siphon time and attention away from the offense. Some coaches can successfully make the transition, most coaches can't.

Wow. Weebs and EWU ranked at 8 and 9 depending upon the poll. Hard to believe how both those programs are in race to the bottom.
It’s plain and simple bad coaching. If Weber stinks it up again this year, they’ll probably move on from Mental. Eastern though is hopelessly stuck with Best for the next 3 years after the previous corrupt AD gave him a sweetheart deal on her way out the door. I can’t believe their Board of Trustees actually approved that deal.
