Britt Cooper could be a great, LG assistant--hope she is and she has the strong approval of both Coach Harris and Woolley which is a plus for her, and she played a key role on Western's NC team, playing and starting for Coach Woolley and winning a boatload of individual honors !!!
On the downside, she did poop the bed during her second year in Dillon as HC, going something like 7-21, which resulted in her getting fired @ her alma mater. ( She was 17-14 her first year in succeeding Coach Woolley. ) Maybe Western's AD is a total jerk and should have given her at least another year ?
And I agree--it would be nice to see a LG coach of color to recruit student-athletes of color in big cities and their suburbs, just like our football and men's bb teams. Hopefully, this happens in the next year or two !!!
