i'm not sure how to evaluate it yet, will need to check out the big west. otherwise, though, i think this topic deserves a thread of it's own, so people don't have to search through the other thread find the subject.
 
I would be sniffing out our first football opponent Central Washington to learn if they have any interest in moving up from Div. II--Humboldt State is another Div. II school that comes to mind ? ( Of course before we ask them, we might want to send a UM spy --Monte in a trench coat plus our high-speed, low-drag GRIZ drone to overfly any candidate schools facilities--seriously, do they have the facilities to play FCS football and Div. 1 basketball 🏀 ? )
 
Past time for the junior pro leagues to just be done with it and form their own football claque. Then we can sort out the rest. While they do their musical chair routine the rest of D1 jockeys for leverage to get somewhere they can never get to. The big dogs only care about the big dogs: we know it, they know it, they know we know it yet this Kabuki idiocy still drags on. Just hope the damage to the level the Griz end up at isn't terminal.
 
let suck state play games against the BSC in 2026. We just need a NIL contribution from them of say 300k per Game! they have Lots of NIL money to pay us with.
 
Is joining the Big West a step up or more about saving on travel costs? Unrelated, the Big West should change their name to California (plus 1) Conference to reflect their current membership.
