Sac State's FBS Waiver is likely denied

He says no conference will take them because of geography when in reality they won't take them cause he's batshit crazy and nobody wants to deal with him.
"Our fans, alumni, and city are ready to represent the best of NCAA FBS football." :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I actually laughed out loud at my desk. They could start by doing that for NCAA FCS football and go from there.....

What has he done that's crazy? I don't doubt that he is, I just haven't ever paid attention to anything sack state related

Said the FCS is just JV teams while Sac State is not even beating that man "JV teams," has made wild claims that if they go FBS they will suddenly start filling out stadiums and bring in giant revenue, and he has been aggressive at times with tweeting snarky things and deleting it. I seem to remember some press conference that was atrocious, but I don't remember the details.

I'm curious to see how much it will hurt Sacramento State to go FCS Independent. Leaving a top-2 conference in the Big Sky with a strong strength of schedule to end up filling your schedule with road FBS games and likely home games against weaker FCS programs. It probably won't turn the needle for the program. I can't imagine the Montanas and Dakotas scheduling home-and-home games with Sac State. Get beat up by FBS programs, beat up weaker FCS programs.

Crazy that Jon could careless about Sac St since he is a NAU fan.
Correct - and the only Big Sky School to win a Full NCAA Division I (not subdivision) National Championship is in fact, NAU (6 to be exact). An FCS title is great, but it still doesn't make you a top 25 Division I football school.

Semantics and all that but there is no difference between "Full Division 1" and "sub division 1". In this case the subdivision is still Division 1.

Good for NAU for having more Division 1 national titles than UM and Sac State - NAU has done far more for the conference than Sac state....who did......checks notes.........4? playoff appearances.

Oh! AND! Gave the big sigh the "Sacramento Metro Area Viewership Market" which added.......zero dollars worth anything to the conference.

Good riddance I say. Will the Big Sky get someone better? Probably not. Will probably do the Big Sky thing and add the dunderbirds...again.

Not like the Big Sky has any choice though.

Yeah, the BSC will not get any better. However, we won't be any worse either. That makes Shaq State leaving the BSC a big nothingburger. So, none of our teams will have to play in their rat infested facilities any more. That alone is a plus.

Yeah, no way top tier BSC or MVFC play them, especially on the road. It’s a lose lose. Can’t reward the quitter. I’m actually pro move up, but this is not the way to go.

LMAO at your arrogance.

What Big Sky schools have won Division 1 national titles in any sports? (Hint, not Montana)
What Big Sky school regularly finishes in the top 100 of the Division I Directors Cup (Hint, not Montana)
The percentage of sports fans who care about Cross Country: .00000028%

The percentage of sports fans who even knows nau has a cross country team: .00000000061%.

The percentage who knows they won a title: .000000000000000000059%
