MBBALL Take a stab at the starting 5

I'm surprised only one person has mentioned Thompson. I know the coaching staff seemed to be high on his potential in the not so distant future. Unless something has changed, I'd be very surprised if he didn't get in the rotation.

Has anyone heard anything regarding Tyler recently?

I watched Tyler for 4 yrs in HS....he never had to rely on a 3 pt shot cuz he could drive to the hoop and finish against HS competition with ease....I too am surprised no one is touting him...he should get minutes immediately if he has learned anything in his red shirt year....

Recently rewatched his senior year highlights and WOW! Dude was a man among on boys the way he dominated. Seems to have rare ability to finish at the rim. Hard to tell from highlights, but he looked to be able to hit 3's when needed.

I don't remember him being a "good" 3 pt shooter but maybe with the red shirt year, he may have developed something....Kid was 6'5" as a freshman but only grew another inch after as far as I know.....IMO, he will be hard to hang on to with this portal shit....

Here is an article about a game where he shot well from 3 in HS.
