I've been looking for the 2023 Sac St v. Griz game, the 12 minute highlight youtube vid is ok, but I'd like the whole game. Didn't Wally the Bronco rename his channel after all the B.S.? What did he change his name/channel? I've been wondering, bc that guy was outstanding! He didn't just post the Griz games, but pretty much every game. I would presume it's still available somewhere...? internet sleuths, Bueller... anyone?

Most of our games from last year were available on the Wally the Bronco Too account, but that was the one that got nuked. (Stupid YouTube) He still operates his original Wally the Bronco account, and has added new games there but I don't think he reuploaded all our old games. The only ones that I can find from last year are the cat game and the playoff games.

Bump…..this one’s easily my favorite game and Griz memory of the last decade! One for the ages. My second favorite was the brawl several weeks prior where we whipped the cats 37-7. The overtime Furman game, the snowy Delaware game….. the most fun I’d had in a post season run since 2009. Such fun memories.

What an awesome game! (Finally had some time to run thru it.) I had forgotten the face mask grab on Junior when he made his pass for the two-point conversion in OT.

My favorite parts about that play:
1. Seeing it live
2. The Crowd Reaction (FACEMASK! WHERE'S HE THROWING? OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!)
3. Watching the TV production the next day and hearing the announcers having the exact same reaction during / to the play as the live crowd.

You should've heard the bitchin' by the Bison faithful about the last play of the game. I keep telling them, when they bring it up, "if your TE hadn't pulled/jerked on Corbin Walker trying to get an advantage, your TE wouldn't have tripped and fell." 🤣

Rewatched Tenn ST game and have a question. If Fife doesn't fumble twice in that game is he the Griz starting QB this year? Or was too much damage done between coach and player before playoffs?

Not trying to open this can of worms again, but the blowup during the PSU game, followed by his performances against MSU and TSU pretty much sealed his fate.

They put their faith in Logan for those two games, and he didn't deliver, so it's tough to say if just fixing the fumbles in that game would've made the difference, but it's possible.

But taken with the entire situation, I kind of doubt it.

Here is the 2009 game against Stephen F Austin (the one with the 10 turnovers)

Won't mention any specific spoilers for those who don't know/remember but ... 22º at kickoff in Missoula set the table. Still, just so you know, SFA came into this game as the #1 FCS offense in the country. Their QB, Jeremy Moses, won the Payton Award in 2010 and is now a coach at Colorado State.

I believe their ahhhhh play may have been aided by a certain someone who owns a website and showed them what an excellent bar town Missoula is. 🤣

Wally The Bronco passed in 2021
*edit… ^this is what a message at the top of his yt page reads

I'm pretty sure that the channel was named after the guy's dog, Wally. The man who runs the channel is still alive and well.
Thank you. That’s really good to know. The message on his page isn’t clear about that. But I certainly should have discerned more seeing the dates.

And there I went again. Nearing the top of eGriz’ foot-in-mouth leaderboard. It’s kinda my thing here. 😬

We won't talk about how many dumb things I've said in a post and then almost immediately realized that I was completely off base. Most of the time I'm fast enough to delete it but sometimes it's too late. So I'll never judge anybody for making an honest mistake.
