Isn’t it about time for a 37?

I'm too busy with work and life in general to worry about "who the next 37 will be" 😂

Enjoy the last bit of spring and summer. We'll find out who it is when the time comes.

A person asked me about a month ago if the numer 37 was for the top player on the team. The following is what the legacy is about.

Grizzly football jersey #37 began its legacy in 1983.

Griz fullback and Plentywood native Kraig Paulson began the tradition of passing #37 on to a younger player who hailed from the state of Montana.

Paulson was known for his hard-nosed play and workman mentality. So the tradition began.

Number 37 has come to represent the Spirit of Montana… hard work, dedication to the team, and tough play on the gridiron.

...and owned entirely by the players...current 37 and only current 37 decides.

Just trolling...😀

Kraig was a year older than me. We played against each other in high school. He was a tough guy 100%. Always interesting that his Plentywood Wildcats beat Bobby’s and Tim’s Big Timber Herders coached by Bobby’s dad in the 1981 Class B State Championship. Tim must have been a freshman. “Pinky” is a great guy. Anyone know where he landed after Sac St staff was let go last year?

Ya know it's pretty wild to me, usually there's almost no question to who deserves the 37 number. This year doesn't feel as special because no one is really standing out more than the other.
I almost like this more… more excitement and anticipation to see who is going to step up and be called upon to be the next great.
