MBBALL Shaq: Sac St GM

That’s literally all they care about is exposure. To think that Shaq is gonna do this full time while working for TNT is just not true. Kinda getting tired of talking about these guys and all their tabloids.

When ever he is around, I'm sure he will dominate the press room.

I on't know how long Sac will be with the BSC, but having him as their PR guy probably helps us all. If it helps pull Sac out of the gutter, I'm all for it. Go git em, Shaq.

Of course he's not doing it full time. It's mostly a PR, marketing, and fundraising gig, which Shaq will be great at. These ceremonial GM gigs are a new trend in college sports. I believe Steph Curry is doing the same for Davidson and same with Maxx Crosby at Eastern Michigan.

I actually admire the fact Sac St are swinging for the fences. There's something to be said for having ambitions beyond the Big Sky.

Fun Fact: In addition to his TNT and endorsement gigs, Shaq is also a full time dubstep DJ on the weekends. He goes by DJ Diesel. He plays raves and festivals all over the world. Dude has an incredible amount of energy and drive.

"Former 4-star recruit Mikey Williams joining Shaq at Sacramento State"

"Williams, 20, was ESPN's 49th-highest-ranked recruit in the class of 2023. He originally signed with Memphis.

However, Williams never played a minute for the Tigers. He was arrested in April 2023 and charged with nine felonies after he allegedly fired a gun into a car full of people.

Williams pleaded guilty to a single felony charge, which was eventually reduced to a misdemeanor.

He then entered the transfer portal and landed at UCF, where he averaged 5.1 points last season while shooting 37.1% from the floor and 28.1% from deep in 18 games.

Williams will join O'Neal's son, Shaqir, at Sacramento State. Shaqir transferred to the school from Florida A&M in March."

I think we all know Shaq is way too busy to be a day to day Sac St employee but none the less, I have had 5 people contact me about him in the last few days....These people have never contacted me about Sac St BB in the past so if nothing else, he is bringing national attention to the Hornets...if that attention translates to getting talent on the floor, it was a brilliant move, if not, what have we lost?

It would be fun to have him show up on the road in the Big Sky too! He is a national treasure.

Yes, Shaq in Missoula would be a sight to see. Doubtful that it'll happen, but maybe we'll see him in the BSC Tourney in Boise if the Hornets are in contention. Big if.
In contention or not, Sac will be in the tournament ... for at last one game anyway. Since his son is on the team, I'm sure he'll be there for that.
