I think there actually would be a market for a show where college quarterbacks who left go back to their former colleges show you all their favorite local hangouts and meals. Interesting reactions and interactions with local fans, semi-famous athletes, and random "diners, drive ins, and dives" vibes. With NIL, this is very doable. Maybe get someone like McAfee or a Manning to host it. We would all watch this.New Netflicks TV series..."The Portal King"!
My recollection is that he went to the Portal within a day or two of his seemingly positive back-to-work post. There were internet rumors that he had been told he would have to compete again for the qb job. I have no idea if that was true. He stayed at Temple long enough to go through first week or so of spring practice. It was already looking like he would become the starter. The coach seemed surprised that McDowell decided to leave. I don't know the facts of his possible return to UM previously.I don't have an opinion either way about this but just stating facts. Immediately after Montana loss the NC game, McDowell posted something to the effect of getting back to work which was telling his teammates and fans at Montana that he wanted to come back and lead the back to the NC. Idk if it was 3 days after that post or a week, but he then posted that he wanted to enter the portal. After seeing this, most fans were stunned and couldn't believe what was happening.
McDowell then committed to Temple, stayed for 2 weeks and deconmitted and traveled somewhere else. Another school which I forgot the name, the coach came out and stated McDowell was now committed to them but we soon found out that wasn't true and then committed to McNeese St
While all this was going on, McDowell asked the coaches at Montana if he could come back. According to players on the team, the coaches allowed him to come back and the news was also circulating that he probably might come back and then committed to McNeese St.
This should be interesting

The interim was Prairie View proximate to where he grew up.I don't have an opinion either way about this but just stating facts. And the only reason he didn’t end up there was because the coach violated ncaa rules by discussing it before he was signed. The interim was Prairie View proximate to where he grew up.
Wow. I didn't think any NCAA rules apply anymore. And the only reason he didn’t end up there was because the coach violated ncaa rules by discussing it before he was signed.
You're welcome!Thanks for the AI wrap-up!
50 transfers in. i still say 4-4 in BSC.Doesn't Sac St. already have a couple of 3 or 4 star rated players in the QB room? And a commit from the #1 rated high school player?
