GFP's latest with Braxton Hill

Super fun pod.

Braxton happened to meet a pod listener and friend of Mike and I's in the sauna @ The Peak of all places and they got to talking about him linking up with us. We got connected and were able to find a time to catch up before he heads back up to Canada for the CFL season.

Lots of talk on him growing up in Anaconda and the influences he had, you can especially sense the role his older sister had (former Lady Griz Torry Hill). His time as a Griz was fascinating, he was recruited by Stitt but greyshirted and then of course came up through the ranks with Hauck. Some interesting chats on his time with Baer as his coach and then the change when Cooper took over at LBs in 2023 and Bradford took over as DC. We chat a bit on his CFL experience so far, and then had a lot of questions - including some from family that sure got a reaction out of him!

You guys should do a short pod breaking down this roster after spring portal and spring ball is completely done. Where everyone thinks we are at heading into summer. I know Spring game there wasn’t too much to draw off of but still. I just don’t think I’ve seen anyone across the platforms do any of that for this team.

This was a fun pod. Made me go back and listen to the Jace Lewis one just for fun. You guys do an incredible job on this podcast, it is way better than we could ever expect for the Griz.
