MBBALL Courtney Anderson

This seems a strange situation to me.

When Kadyn Betts committed, it was posted immediately with a big exclamation mark. But Courtney Anderson...well under the radar, buried in the Transfer Tracker.

Still, very similar cases: 4-star recruits out of high school that failed to shine at either of the big schools, Minnesota and Colorado respectively.

And therein lies the risk for mid-majors on the Portal: Highly touted high school players that because of injury, lack of playing time or simply under achievement, did not cut it at the bigger programs.

My experience in life? You almost always get a second chance. I'll bet both these players are eager to take advantage of that second chance. Malik Moore did.

And hopefully Courtney, about the same size as Malik @ 6-5, can help replace Malik, whether he starts right away or comes off our bench.
