Break out players 2025

It is very possible that I am speaking for most, but KAY.
If KAY gets healthy and stays healthy, has a great summer and fall camp, he's all conference at some level.

Agree with others mentioned above.

Also:
Geno Leonard
Lekeldrick bridges
Davis has a lot of buzz
Several of transfers notably harper, Hendrix
Oven, Stevenson, and Opitz on defense

My number one answer is Micah Harper. He has all the tools to break out fast.

Johnson and Panfiloff are guys on the offensive line that I think take one big, final step forward. They will both be absolute monsters in terms of strength.

I'm pretty excited to see what Peevy can do. If he can step right in, he has all the opportunity to be a huge stud.

Oven, Leonard, and Opitz have been talked about a lot as the future, and it will be interesting to see which one of them breaks out. I have to believe one of them does.

Ah Yat could use a giant target in the red zone, and Titus might have the size to make life easy on him.

Bridges is going to make big plays.

Only hoping...or 2025 is more 2024 and less 2023.
Keep in mind K played on a BAD high school team. Hard to develop from a live rep standpoint when you’re running for your life. However, he obviously has all the physical talent and appears to have the composure and processing ability to be a very talented QB. But, unlike many elite players at the position, he was never going to hit the ground running. We saw flashes his true freshman year and again last year before his injury. But we also saw the growing pains of a freshman. I’m confident we will see progression this year. Playing the position at a high level takes lots of quality game reps. K didn’t get them in high school. If he had with his talent, it’s probably unlikely that he plays for the Griz.

I’m also looking forward to seeing the progress of Jake Mason. He showed some flashes of his potential last season.

Spot on analysis regarding KAY. Some in this board (not all) gauge his results in '24 like he was a seasoned senior signal caller with 3 years D1 experience under his belt, and dog on him accordingly.. When in actuality, his performance was well above average, if not GREAT for a freshman. Had he stated healthy (not likely for a freshman), his numbers would've been elite for a freshman.

Also, Jake Mason is going to be a beast, what I've seen live in the few spring practices I've been to, he's been dominant. Which is also giving our young linemen great experience.

That's great to hear about Mason! I am also really excited to see Hunter Peck as well, I have a good feeling about him.
