Pro Day 2025

Shoutout To All Who Showed Their Stuff At Pro Day

The nation now knows the FB athletes that come out of a Grizzly team. They represented us well.

I hope each athlete achieves the level of success they seek. I know their actions on the field will always be in my memory. Their talent and work effort was on display today for the many NFL scouts attending the event.

Complete info here. Click link to see Ostmo's photo. He's a beast.

Yea he most definitely exceeded expectations. He looks like a freak physically. I think he's actually going to be drafted.
Every single participant is lower end draft worthy or UFA. I wish Juniors 40 would have been slightly better.

With Junior, Nick, Casey and Harris's GRIZ Pro Day, I don't know where these 4 will be playing next year, but they'll be playing in The NFL, CFL or arena ball if they so desire.

I was especially impressed by Jr.'s and Nick's bench and 40 times--I don't know how they did it but they got faster !!! Harris also showed decent speed for a DL.

In terms of playing up here; White and Harris will almost definitely both get drafted (White is a lock) and I would be very surprised if they both were not on rosters coming out of training camp. Ostmo and Bergen both have the speed and Ostmo has the size as well. You would think Junior would be perfect for the Canadian game but then I said the same thing about JLM and he didn't work out. Not knocking Casey but he may not have the mobility for the big field game, that is not entirely on him. The recent insistence that we turn all our o-lineman into gigantic upright mattresses speaks to one-dimensional thinking and the quality of the University's food service.

On a side note; I heard that Harris's Mom is from Regina; I found her first name but does anybody happen to know her maiden name?

What's Mellott going to run in 40 on Friday? I assume he's participating.

Didn’t the cat fans promise us he had an unwitnessed confirmed allegedly possible absolutely probable record time in the 40 a few years back?

I have no doubt though that it will be faster than probably any other QB out there. How it stacks up against slot receivers or scat back type guys looking to get drafted though, that’s the real question.

Wow... that's elite speed. I'd be pretty surprised if he posted a 4.3 but then again all I have to go on is his highlight reel?
Some people I know that are close to the MSU football program told me they think it might be coming down the pipe, and I remember from over a year ago reading an article in The Athletic about how they don't time the 40 yard dash at MSU, but they do a different drill to test speed. The results of those were showing Tommy being faster than Troy Andersen, and he ran a 4.42. Its really just those two things I am basing it on, I could totally be wrong. Everybody has good and bad days running.

Based on his other numbers I've heard about, I think he has the ability to be in the 4.3's. I don't know if he'll run his best or anything, but I could see a 4.38 or something like that.
I think he will run a similar time as Troy ~4.4ish. That would be similar to the elite slot receivers and RB's in the draft.

I agree. I was only suggesting a .04 difference. From what I have heard, he runs slightly faster than Troy when timed in a straight line.
