Newcomer intro videos 2025

Jensen has literally never thrown a pass in a D1 football game, how in the world is he more experienced than Keali'i?

The hate #8 gets from some Griz fans is fucking wild.
I agree with the Jensen part. Ah Yat just hasn't shown much improvement and has made very questionable decisions. I think he's a great option as a backup but, not for a starter. Personal opinion based solely on his play.

Kinda wild to think that a guy who made freshman mistakes and showed some real flashes is QB2 at best, but you're hoping we see the freshman kid who also hasn't thrown a D1 pass and will almost certainly have those same freshman mistakes.

Titus seems like a great, level-headed, blue-collar football player. He should fit in well within our TE room, where our cup overfloweth !!! I cannot remember a time in the past where we gave had so many big, talented TE's on our roster !!! I just hope we use our TE's for more than just a 3rd OT and throw the ball to Evan Shafer, Titus, and Jake Olson about 10 times every game--@6-5, 6-7, and 6-8, our opponents are going to have trouble covering them !!!
Or most likely, they’ll get tired of being blocked by them 🤣 Bobby LOVES using big TEs as extra blockers.

Have you been at practice this spring watching the QB's practice? Have you talked to the coaches?

I was hoping for Ah Yah to really be great. He just has not shown greatness. Average at best. It's not like he has not had lack of playing time. Time is running out. We just cannot seem to find the right fit at QB. Why?

Would it be possible to have only comments on Ah Yat come from people who have a clue as to what is actually going on? I'm tired of the off-the-cuff dumbass comments on this subject. I'd prefer comments based on some knowledge. I don't think anyone cares what random unknowledgeable people who aren't paying attention, think?

I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure his high school career got cut short too due to Covid. If true then yeah he really is still raw and developing. He has plenty of time to grow into a great player
This is correct. I don't know if he would have been starting that year, though. His senior year was 2022, his junior year 2021, so it was his sophomore year that got cut short.

Tolbert looks like an incredible stud. I hadn't focused on him earlier. 12 tackles against Illinois in game 1. 8 against Ind. St. in game 2. 8 against NW in game 3. 10 against Ill. St. in game 4. That's alot of tackles.

He left the program after 4 games. https://prairiestatepigskin.com/202...was not in uniform, had decided “to redshirt.”
He left after 4 to save a year. I think we will see more of this with good players on struggling teams. Can’t blame them.

The final analysis of ah yats freshman year is it was above average and just short of excellent for a freshman campaign. When he was healthy and aggressive he was great. He had to miss games on 2 separate occasions due to injury. His passing and running numbers were solid, arm strength, leadership, toughness, and speed are on point. Biggest area of improvement needs to be decision making and ability to read coverages, which is the biggest area of natural development that comes with reps and experience. Bringing in Jensen as competition is great for his development as it fosters the human natural virtues of competition bringing out the best in us all.
