New OL Coach Cameron Norcross

Was hired around this time last year at Kennesaw as OL coach and run game coordinator. Team went 2-10 with leading rusher running for <600 yards. Before that, hasn’t coached since 2020 at UNLV where the went 0-6.

Underwhelming.

That’s funny, didn’t your new OL coach get let go by Fresno State? That seems underwhelming as well. Looks like we’re in the same boat.

This Shi__y Kitty and any others shouldn't be throwing shade when half of their coaching staff left, including both coordinators, Boz Angeles just as soon as they could after their Shi__y Kitties coughed up another hair ball in the NC game against NDSU !!!

But the SK's should take heart because once upon a time, they did beat NDSU ... almost 50 years ago in 1976. Maybe f__ked up ware wolf can organize a golden anniversary celebration in 2026 to celebrate The SK's last victory over NDSU !!!

Facts. And Griz fans giving you shit for speaking reality are just in denial.

Not exactly a resume to be stoked about compared to Pawlak and that’s just being honest.

Looks like a terrific hire. Was at Kennesaw. His son plays center. UNLV, Vanderbilt, Fresno and Nevada-Reno. Very good experience.

“Cameron Norcross joins UNLV after four seasons in the SEC as offensive line coach for Vanderbilt. He went to Nashville after serving four years at Fresno State that included three bowl trips, including the Bulldogs’ 11-2 season in 2013 that ended with a Las Vegas Bowl appearance. Previously, Norcross served an 11-year stint at his alma mater, UNR, helping the Wolf Pack to seven consecutive bowl appearances from 2005-11. Starting his coaching career as a GA there, he was hired as the tight ends and co-offensive line coach in 2003 and was promoted to run-game coordinator and OL coach in 2010. A three-year letterman on the UNR offensive line (1997-99), Norcross was an All-Big West selection in 1998.”

I always laugh at people saying someone’s resume is good or bad. So many things can lead to success or break an individuals career. Especially when an entire program is involved. He has solid experience at decent programs. He will be a fine coach. What do people expect anymore? Bigger money and more opportunity are going to draw high caliber coaches away. Get used to it. Everyone wants and needs more money. That is where the world is folks. Deal with it.

Don't agree at all--he is older and has more experience than Pawlak, and unlike Pawlak, he's from the West, having both played and coached @ Nevada and UNLV when The Wolfpack won a lot of games, including bowl games !!! And that means unlike Pawlak, Coach Norcross knows some football folks in Nevada, Arizona, California, etc.

I am pretty sure Coach Hauck and Pease didn't hire Coach Norcross just because he can stand upright, has a pulse and can fog a glass !!!

Generally, I agree, but where people love Montana, UM, Missoula and want to raise their family here and even stay after the nest is empty-- these great coaches have different priorities where maximizing $ wasn't/isn't Priority # 1: Robin Selvig, Travis DeCuire, Justin Green are 3 examples that come to mind.

That is not true. He was at Nevada until last year when staff was let go and Choate took over.

Those weren't facts, though. Facts are things that are true.

I was JACKED about Pawlak because of the kind of coach he is and what he was doing with the line, but if you are talking resume then Norcross has a better one by a mile. He has already coached at the kinds of jobs that Pawlak is just now getting a chance at.

Dude has coached offensive lines in the SEC and Mountain West. That's a step up from coaching at UND.

Except that UND probably has as many or more linemen in the NFL than most of the Mountain West teams...
