BOTH Men's and Lady Griz Finals.

Amazing game. The Cats were able to coast through their first two games against opponents who didn't show up to play but that wasn't the case today. I'm sure it hurts but everyone involved with the Lady Griz program should be immensely proud about how they played in this tournament. Screw EWU and Idaho State, it's good to see BOTH Montana teams at the top of the conference. Best of luck in the men's final tonight!

Okay thanks so much for that!. I guess I just never knew that. But I don't normally watch a lot of basketball so that explains it.
 
Crushing, just crushing. I feel so bad for the girls. They deserved a fairy tale ending after everything they’ve been through. Basketball can be a cruel game sometimes. Comes down to one bounce of the ball at the end of the game. To think that we were a millisecond away from punching our ticket to March Madness against a team that won 30 games this year is kind of hard to believe. What an unbelievable run at the tourney. Pushing the 1,2,and 3 at the tourney is outrageously difficult. Great run!
 
If only Lady Griz had more depth. Only 7 players played and the two bench players never scored a point and had only 3 rebounds. The starters played 33 or minutes with Konig playing all 40 minutes. This after all the starters played at least 32 minutes with Konig playing 38 minutes in the semi-final game. And to think that the first game, 4 of the starters played at least 31 minutes with Konig playing 37 minuts.

On the other side of the ball, Cats played 10 players players with quite a few minutes spread out and the starters didn't have to play as many minutes the first 2 games.

But, here's to Konig. The new iron woman. Played all but 5 minutes possible in the three games.

It's what got you set up at half court on the Dani B 3 to go up 1 as well, if i remember that correctly. Time out lady griz, and you're taking it out at mid court instead and don't have to deal with the press.
 
I learned my lesson. I cheered for the lady griz yesterday against NAU and we almost lose this game. Never doing that again. 😆

You’re thinking the previous Waddington made shot that cut the lead to 54-56
Then Bruno stole the ball from Morales with about 20 seconds left not far from mid court on the cat side.

Excited. Should be an epic game. I’m predicting a close game. I doubt either team plays as bad as they did on their home courts. I’d be really surprised if it was a blowout in either direction.
