MBBALL Sac Game Thread

Sac announcers are about as exciting as a Colonoscopy, but very complimentary of the Griz. Clean up a few things, and we should blow their doors off. Nice to know this is the last time we play in their tiny little coffee booth of a gym
 
That was a pretty shitty first half. We’re lucky Sac is dog shit. We do this against PSU on Saturday and we’re gonna get ran out of the building. Threes aren’t falling, sloppy passing, and guys looking like they’re sleep walking out there. Hopefully Decuire woke them up at halftime.
 
Sage, you're not funny. I had to go see my gastroenterologist today--I have Crohn's disease. Subject: putting me on a new medicine and scheduling my next colonoscpy: late May. And I am looking forward to it as much as my next root canal

Griz still fundamentally flawed. They let literally EVERY team back in the game. They lack the ability to put and KEEP their foot on the neck. A 22-point rout turns into a 6 point nail biter…against a league bottom feeder.

That doesn’t bode well for the tournament.

That’s been a problem in years past but that really hasn’t been a problem this year. They’ve been pretty good at stepping on teams throats this year.
 
Well that was a pretty uninspiring performance. Kai and Moore looked totally rattled after their injuries tonight. Hopefully they’re ok and can ice up and clear their heads ahead of the huge game on Saturday. Nobody could hit a shot in the second half and it felt like all our points came from the free throw line. I think they totally overlooked these guys tonight and were just going through the motions thinking they would coast. Hopefully it’s a wake up call and everyone’s ready to go on Saturday or we could be in for a long day.
 
Weird game. Hard to say anything positive about tonight’s game for the grizzlies. I guess the best thing one could say is we won the game. Team looked a little lethargic but when you’re up 20 in the first half it’s hard to get your head back in the game.
Travis now has the most wins of any coach in Griz history, congratulations coach. Pretty impressive resume and I’m sure there will be talk about big bucks coming after him. I watched part of the U of Utah game last night and man did they look terrible. Of course that’s the program that ran Larry K out of town with a big payday so hopefully they won’t come calling.
I’m pretty sure Travis will come down hard on a few players after tonight’s game.
 
The Utes are not going to hire any BSC coach or any MWC coach for that matter. Word around Northern Utah is that they have had their fill of bringing coaches up from lower conferences. They have the money to go get a much higher level coach. Better?, Who knows, but their fans would go bat shizz crazy if they hired a BSC coach.

I lived in Utah many years ago, 25 to be exact. It’s interesting to note the paths taken by the Utes and the BYU Cougars. It used to be Utah would kick the Cougars butts in bb and fb pretty regularly. Up here in Montana the tide has turned as well. While the Griz ruled the perch for many years but now the shoe seems to be on the other foot. But I have hope.
