MBBALL Joe Pridgen Eligibility

Terrific news.
Pound for pound he's the best rebounder in Griz history. He is so strong. Every part of his game is about positioning.

If he adds some ball handling and becomes a more consistent perimeter threat, he'd be amazing.

Delvon Anderson averaged 7+ rebounds in his 62 game career. Pridgen 6+ in one year. Delvon was shorter and weighed less. He's a legend in "Griz history". Pridgen needs the extra year to get in any discussion of Griz history.

Unfortunately, I wasn't around Missoula when he played. Also, goes to show how current players are more easily remembered.

Delvon was always in the right place at the right time for rebounding. If you saw him play, you would say "How?" Slight frame, but he was quick, knew positioning, and his timing was second to none. Another great rebounder was Shawn Samuelson. That being said, Pridgen has been a joy to watch this year.

Incredibly quick off the floor. Snared a lot of boards before other guys were in the air. Fun player to watch back then.
