Getting down the season now! We soundly beat ISU at home Jan 18 (81-60). Like all things, all conf teams maturing as they do mid/late season. ISU beat UI Feb 1, in a low scoring game (52-44). ISU lost to NAU Jan 2, 71-79. All summations, we should be able to handle ISU today. Covello a player to watch. But we tend to get "slumpy" scoring wise, and our "D" as many have pointed out is likewise not so consistent. But then again, when we put it all together, we can be a force to contend with...as per our dual with MSU/Cats. Yes Dani, offers a lot to the team ,not sure about her injury status. In my opinion steady enough scoring x5 double dig in all games thus far ,although has had more that few off games. Road wins are always tough, road wins in Feb always seem to be a little tougher for all teams.
Zingaro looked tired. Getting triple teamed and losing the ball. Slow getting back on D. I'll be interested to see how many minutes she played. Looking back it looks like she's usually 15 minutes. With Dani playing.
Mack needed to take over that game and maybe you stand a shot. I know she missed a 3pt towards the end but she was the only one doing damage.

Nate Harris lost himself the head coaching job tonight. I was Luke warm on him coming into tonight. Now my mind is made up. Time to go outside the program.

Wouldn't of been so very bad if we didn't lose to a team by twenty that we had previously beaten by twenty. Should've won that one,..sorry.

Must've been suffering from that thar 'jet lag' from that long flight from Missoula into Pocatello.
How's those soccer and/or softball teams doing these dayz? Gotta have a winning team somewhere? Volleyball? Huh. Forget it.

I think this is the key. I think Nate is doing fine coaching. Without Dani the LG aren't as good. And your other big that was struggling in the 2nd half. On offense if she's singled then she's fine but they were double and tripling her last night. When she would get passes down low in the 2nd half they were being taken away from her. You could really tell she was getting tired. I think when i looked it up she was at 15 minutes a game before DB was hurt
i think yesterday she was in for almost 30. She wasn't getting back on defense. If DB is in, they can't double or triple one of them.
What it comes down to is it's hard to win if you shoot 29% from the floor. That's not on Nate. The team got looks they just didn't make them. If you big downlow is being double teamed your shooters have to make shots. They weren't. They had looks but the weren't making them consistently enough. Idaho st wasn't either until they started to break it away with 2 minutes left in the 3rd Q.
