Hardly. They floundered for over a decade and now they get to play Tuesday and Wednesday night Football.Worked out pretty well for UMass.

Or the "going independent" is new info that only came out recently. I know, things move fast and you can't keep up. Seems your only life is having a giant crush on me and the flirting is getting embarrassing.Looks like HHH can't figure out something new to post. This discussion has been going on for a year. HHH really needs to get out of the basement and get yourself a life.
Obviously.Hardly. They floundered for over a decade and now they get to play Tuesday and Wednesday night Football.
I don't know, man. He's like watching a slow motion car wreck...it's hard to divert your eyes...I have decided that life is too valuable for stupid, so blocking oldn I go.
I see it as a gamble, but also a decision of courage unlike the UM position of fear and complacency.Worked out pretty well for UMass.
If you’re suggesting that UM should consider being an FBS Independent, I’m telling you right now that would be an all time stupid decision. We will bleed through cash at an unreal level, and that’s not exactly a good student athlete experience either. There’s a reason that nobody besides Notre Dame can make it as an IND. it would be career suicide for Haslam and Bodnar if they actually did that.I see it as a gamble, but also a decision of courage unlike the UM position of fear and complacency.
Like jumping off a roof?I see it as a gamble, but also a decision of courage unlike the UM position of fear and complacency.
Are you sure you understood the subject? We’re talking about being an independent.I see it as a gamble, but also a decision of courage unlike the UM position of fear and complacency.
Big West for non-football would be logical. Save on travel to put into the stadium kitty. LOLAccording to Wikipedia, Sac State is currently part of:
No kidding, how much would a Half Pac satisfactory stadium run in Sacramento.? You also have to figure the Big Bois are going to hoover up even more of the TV bux when they settle on a 50 million salary cap. The crumb pile will get smaller.Like jumping off a roof?
I don’t disagree with your point of being independent. They are making a bold decision to elevate to FBS and I believe they likely have a plan to join a conference in short order. On the other hand, UM is probably going to be the last school in FCS before the lights go out. I understand it’s the money issue, but I believe it’s more than that. In my view, the leadership and fans of the Griz are simply satisfied with mediocrity year after year after year.If you’re suggesting that UM should consider being an FBS Independent, I’m telling you right now that would be an all time stupid decision. Do you really believe they will be an independent very long? The subject is having the courage to make the move. Are you sure you understood the subject? We’re talking about being an independent.
I am not going to discuss much here. Spanky2, a question for you, have you requested a personal in person sit down with Haslam or Bodner or both? If not please do. They are open and you can then raise your discussion level immensely on here with accurate information instead of uninformed opinions and rumors.I don’t disagree with your point of being independent. I believe that it isn't up to them.Do you really believe they will be an independent very long? The subject is having the courage to make the move.
I don't find there to be any mediocre about UM football or UM athletes nor their leadership and fans. I understand that some fans want football to be FBS, but not going to FBS has nothing to do with mediocrity or liking mediocrity, in my view.I don’t disagree with your point of being independent. Triwest, I would be interested in meeting with them as you suggest. However, at the moment I’m relegated to non mobile status.I am not going to discuss much here. I know you enjoy watching the Griz play FCS teams . So do I. I would watch them if they played Rocky. I would love to watch them play Wyoming and Utah State in our stadium rather than Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington.I don't find there to be any mediocre about UM football or UM athletes nor their leadership and fans.
