LadyGriz Holsinger on Leave

Holsinger most likely now has an attorney. That will slow things to a snail pace. And after the Shannon debacle, Haslam will make sure all the T's are crossed.
But with Coach H being placed on leave mid-season, coupled with a disappointing season, an incident of some concern happening, and this being his contract year, he has no chance to remain as head coach at UM. It's just gonna take longer than most of us want.
And a real estate agent.

Yep, Holsinger's hut in The South Hills is up for sale for a mil plus--maybe Shannon can sell it for him ?

Speaking of Shannon, that was a great move by Haslam almost seven years ago firing the LG's greatest player in history, Rob's long-time right hand, and hiring Holsinger--how did that work out, Kent ?

Y'a mean he ain't gonna retire in Missoula? Huh!
BTW, what does a mill+ get you in the Missoula market, 3 BR ranch style, attached garage. I really don't know, and not in the market. FYI.

Coaching these days is fickle enough, NIL, paid players, a winning team, player recruiting and injuries, portal. Sounds enough like he's leaving, where he goes....another team another dream, or maybe selling houses or insurance. Maybe buy a guitar and harmonica...got them old further down the road coaching blues!

Missoula Property Information system shows he owns another house in Missoula in the Rattlesnake area. Maybe he's selling his house in the Mansion Heights area and moving there.

Just like Bill Speltz and the Missoulian to write a hit piece like that. Maybe the University is not allowed to comment at this time???

I'll be blunt:

1. He dismissed Shannon for cause. Played out that way.
2. If it comes to the end that is rumored, he'll fire Holsinger for cause.

Both had a CV and the type of bone fides that were in their moments a good hire. Turns out that if they were a combined into some amalgamation of the same person, UM might have had something yet still short of what other programs like NAU/MSU in their hires. What neither of them had and what I think is ultimately what caused their own downfalls is the type of temperament and vision to move the program forward. A skill that both Binford and Payne have in spades.

There are several former LG players and staff that are going to be at the center of interest for the department as the next head coach. If Harris continues this upswing in performance and ultimately results, he likely will receive some consideration as well.

I don't think Holsinger will be fired. This is his contract year. He will simply not be renewed.

Firing Shannon was a mistake, a $

Firing Shannon was a big mistake, a $350,000 mistake as Bill Speltz notes, and I am far from alone in that conclusion, 24. If you don't agree, okay, we can agree to disagree.

And at this point, another big Haslam mistake was his decision to hire Holsinger, so when it comes to The Lady GRIZ, he's now 0-2.
