MBBALL Money

I wouldn’t worry. The kid was a few simple mistakes away from having a big game last night. I believe he’s in good spirits and is a great teammate. The team will pick him up and he will get back on track. He was close to putting all together last night. He just rushed things a little bit. One step slower and he’s back on track!

It seemed he was maybe a bit too pumped up last night. A lot of his misses were long and he tripped over his own feet a couple times on fast break opportunities. Hope he is able to take care of things and just get through this semester and then see what happens.

I really like Money's game. He has the potential to be the best guard in the BSC. Due to all of the off court struggles he has been going through, he has not made the progress that we all expected. He is still very, very good, but there are three guards in the league who seem to be playing better than him right now. IMHO, Darling, Threatt, and the wing guard from UNC (can't remember his name), are all playing a bit better.

I hope you get him back next year, I think he will do way better.

I think Money will turn it on as we come down the stretch. We've got a little bit more rest now having played only 2 games in 10 days. 2 games at home this week with a big one on Thursday. Rivalry game has passed where he nearly put it all together, and now can play loose, dial it in with more practice time now, and know that it's crunch time now.

Was listening to Colter's show earlier today and he was discussing why Money didn't start the game on Saturday and he mentioned it may have been about comments that Money made last week regarding UM. Does anybody know what he said? I don't recall hearing an interview where he said anything bad about UM. I do remember him kind of ragging on the cats saying that nobody could guard Pridgen or Moore but I never heard him say anything bad about the Griz. Anyone know the story?

That was just conjecture from Colter, and the video you are referencing is the video he is talking about. Specifically it was the comment about “nothing” standing out about MSU. I wouldn’t read into it, Kai was better prepared to compete on that night. Game-time decision from TD.

Ya I had kind of wondered if that's what he was talking about that. I don't see at all how that's controversial
