LadyGriz LG versus Idaho State

Another game we should be fairly evenly matched, ISU beaten by a large margin by Cats last night. From the last game the LG came out with a lot of vigor and enthusiasm, great ball movement, D and shot performance. I would think a starting lineup similar to the last game, along with timely subs, that we can count on. Not sure about Mac, this game, plays or not, hopefully so, but the game/player flow worked very well otherwise. GO LG!!!

Look like they’re having a blast whether they’re on O or D.

A former coach I know, who’s coached high school boys and girls basketball, used to say ”boys have fun when they’re winning, girls win when they’re having fun”. Go Griz!

Played pretty well offensively and defensively. Need to rebound a little bit better but that can be fixed. Needed the home sweep to not sink to the bottom of the standings. I believe this puts them in 5th now. Big opportunity at Idaho Monday night. That will be telling of if this team has truly turned the corner or not.

I can’t anymore than has already been said but the ladies looked terrific. They really seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The Griz came out on fire and the blaze continued right up until the end. Congratulations to the ladies!

Well, could it be that Holsinger was the problem? We have a trend here.

Two games in a row with turnovers below 10. That was pretty much unheard of with Holsinger coached teams.

Also, Playing all the point guards and all three early in the game. That is something I don't think Holsinger would ever have thought of doing.

And Harris starting Aby Shubert over Lincoln was a smart move. Shubert definitely proved to belong on the starting five. Lincoln did do well when she got in the game though. Was the best free throw shooter.

McCliment-Call has become a more consistent threat the past two games scoring double figures in both game this week.

Seems the players are more comfortable out there.

next week the Idaho and Cats.

Also I don’t know what happened, but I have a couple of ideas, and there probably not good. This team, and Harris are completely different. I hope he gets a chance to be Head Coach cause he is deserving of it!

Ditto to everything that has been said. This looked like an entirely different team today than last week. A group of young women playing well, executing, having fun and enjoying being Lady Griz.
