LadyGriz Holsinger on Leave

It’s already been asked and answered thoroughly. It’s clear that bobcat skulls are too dense for it to sink in. Now crawl back to your basement dwelling and ask Ma for some more meatloaf.
ah yes. No real evidence, so you go with the “it’s been answered before.” I would nearly guarantee it (and bet my mom’s basement rent) that there are exactly 0 people on this board with inside information of what goes on in Wadeds office.

If we’re talking about the DUI mess, cool. That was not a good situation. You now have MSdUi to toss out alongside “rent free.”

I promise you can’t provide anything else that would constitute “sweeping it under the rug.”

MSU, as a university, failed to protect minority students. Believe there was some anti-semitism things going on. She swept that under the rug for quite a while

And again, thank you for making my point. The completely unfounded and baseless Griz superiority complex strikes again.

UM coach does bad things.
MSU fan says “ha!”
Griz fans cry “MSU is worse because XYZ”
The can’t answer to a rebuttal of the very same things they accuse.

If it weren’t so hilarious, it would be sad.

The very same things? Is UM this coach allowed to coach currently? Does he get a raise and a contract extension while out of jail on bail? I’d guess no. And that’s the difference. Hope this helps.

My fellow Griz fans, why do you continually get sucked into pissing matches with Cat trolls that ruin threads?

The back and forth is insufferably dumb and you all fall for the bait EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Ignore or block if their stupid comments trigger you.

It seriously ridiculous and making this site borderline unbearable.

Wait. Skyline reported that he "put his hands on a woman in the workplace?" Do you have a link to that?
No there was a comment on BN about the hands on a woman thing. The Skyline article referenced a scuffle or something like that if I remember correctly.

And just now I will comment that he is probably top 5 and not top 2.
I suppose it’s based on hindsight, so I will reserve judgment until there is reliable information about what happened - instead of rumors and speculation. Holsinger put together a nice team in his third year.

At this point, based on hindsight and at least until recently, he has been better than Stitt, Shannon, and the soccer or volleyball dude who went off the rails. The Lady Griz did beat UW earlier this year.

If the leave stems from an “altercation,” I hope it did not involve any student athletes.

I will defend Shannon, not because she's from Billings, but that doesn't hurt.

I think Haslam totally mishandled her--she had a decent season in 2018 after a couple of rough years AR, After Robin, and deserved to get a new contract. Yes, some of her players entered the brand-new transfer portal, but as we all know in 2025, that is very common now !!!

I think the common denominator in Stitt, volleyball, soccer, softball dud hires, etc., potentially Holsinger is Kent Haslam--again depending on what happens with Brian Holsinger, about the only good coaching hire he has made is Bobby Hauck, whom he passed over when Mick Delaney retired in 2014, to hire Bob Stitt. Other than Bobby and LG Soccer HC Chris Citowicki, and of course Travis, I think Kent has whiffed on coaches more often than not and totally botched Shannon's situation.. Maybe we should focus more on Kent and whether he should remain GRIZ AD or not ? !!!

And the football coaching change made after the.football season ended in 2017 had everything to do with job security--not Bob Stitt's job security but Kent Haslam's. Is it my imagination or was Kent feeling some heat 🥵 in late 2017 after Stitt's gimmick no-huddle offense was not delivering the promised results so Kent had to fire his hand-picked football coach Stitt and rehire Bobby Hauck or Kent's own job was on the line ?

“These threats are horrific, but the actions of our university administration are worse,” wrote Lin in her complaint to the Office for Civil Rights. “They have failed to acknowledge any of the threats and given us little to no support.

“The MSU administration has failed to protect students and their rights.”

Marquayvion Hughes, who is Black and filed two complaints against MSU, explained his reason for doing so.

“We just need to help reform the university,” said Hughes, who since transferred to Iowa State University.

Hughes left MSU in part because he no longer wanted to face white supremacism, he said. He was called the “n” word at MSU, saw Nazi propaganda in trash cans on campus, and heard Bobcats at a football game “screaming racial slurs to members of the other team.”

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights this month launched an investigation into allegations that Montana State University failed to respond appropriately to reports of sex- and race-based discrimination during the 2022-23 school year.

“We were told that it probably wouldn’t happen, that the investigation would never start, that it would take so long. But it has started, and it’s pretty aggressive in terms of what it’s asking from the university.”
