Definitely going to be a lot of unknowns on our defense next year. Could be bad or could be good but no one should have any idea what to expect on defense. I’m just hoping we have something good there that reaches the expectation.

Medical retirement is a pretty common term for this situation, although there was more to this decision than just an injury. This generation of football players are are much less enthusiastic about playing in Bobby’s boot camp.

Jace is not enrolled in any classes. He earned his degree and likely didn’t want to go back to school for his masters. I knew about his “retirement” a week before it was posted. Many others probably knew well before that though

Where exactly do we draw the line on young? There are guys retiring before 30 from the NFL. Is it ok to say they are retiring since they were paid? Well shoot I guess college athletes can be pros now too so seems like an interesting hill to die on. And since you also limited moving on, I guess we will just have to say they’ve grown up to a point they will no longer being playing a silly game that you find so entertaining.
